Description
Hedgelaying is a traditional form of hedgerow management. It rejuvenates the hedge keeping it strong and healthy, and forms an attractive natural alternative to wooden or wire fencing. It is also very important in helping to maintain biodiversity.
This course is delivered over three days to enable participants to practice laying. It covers carrying out any site/hedge preparation tasks, the pleaching process, staking and binding, trimming the hedge and tidying the site before leaving.
