Description

Hedgelaying is a traditional form of hedgerow management. It rejuvenates the hedge keeping it strong and healthy, and forms an attractive natural alternative to wooden or wire fencing. It is also very important in helping to maintain biodiversity.

This one day course gives an introduction to the skills required for hedgelaying and an understanding of how hedgelaying should be carried out correctly, which may then be developed through further study.

Prior skills or experience required

This course is open to all, no prior experience or ability is required.

Course fees due are inclusive of vat at 17.5% unless stated otherwise at the bottom of this section.
Course fee £ 60.00
Fee for BTCV Supporters, BTCV Northern volunteers and BTCV Associated groups £ 30.00
The course is free to volunteers registered with the BTCV office in Chester. However if you require a certificate we are asking for a contribution of £10 £ Free
