Description
This event is designed for environmental professionals whose work involves setting up and working with ‘Friends of ...’ groups, such as community forest staff, rangers, project managers, field and project officers, woodland officers, rural community council and local authority staff. The programme will look at the role of the support officer, setting up a group, constitutions, roles for members, action planning, and providing long term support.
The event is most suitable for those who are new to working with friends groups, but those with a little experience or who are experiencing difficulties should also find it useful.
