| SHARPENING STONES - It is advisable to wear gloves when using sharpening stones. The Cigar Stone is to sharpen tools used for cutting grass and herbaceous vegetation, e.g. sickle. The Canoe Stone is finer than the cigar stone and is used on tools for cutting woody vegetation and brash, e.g. billhook. The Combination Oil Stone has one course side and one fine side. It can be used when a fine edge is required, e.g. wood chisel. |
