Community Network Membership

Throughout the UK, people are getting together to make a difference in their community. BTCV's community network already supports several thousand local groups. Why not join them. We offer all you need to make work safe, effective and enjoyable.
Whether you are experts or just thinking about getting involved in improving your local area, and need to know where to start, we can give you a helping hand to turn your vision into reality. Association costs £35 per year and gives you access to insurance, a useful Welcome Pack containing BTCV publications, regular funding information, training and tools discounts and much more. Insurance

PUBLIC LIABILITY & PERSONAL ACCIDENT

BTCV is able to offer Community Netwrok Members (who are voluntary not for profit organisations) access to competitive insurance through an insurance scheme underwritten by Zurich Municipal. BTCV is Authorised and regulated by the FSA to act as intermediaries in the sale of insurance to Community Network Groups. Insurance cover starts from £100 per annum. TOOLS INSURANCE (FIRE & THEFT)

The BTCV scheme allows groups to add insurance for their tools. The Tools insurance provides cover against fire and theft whilst tools are stored in a locked declared location. Unfortunately tools are not covered while on site. Cover costs £25 per £1,000 worth of tools insured + £5 per power tool. This insurance can only be taken out in conjunction with Public Liability and is a self insured scheme, not underwritten by Zurich Municipal

EMPLOYERS LIABILITY

Increasingly more and more groups are securing external funding allowing them to be able to employ staff. We are now able to offer groups Employers Liability insurance, up to a maximum of 5 employees. Underwritten by Zurich Municipal.
